Downloading Technology- How it stays Legal

Posted on November 5, 2009 by Under Technology · 1 Comment

It might be hard to believe, but music downloading has been creating the technology for users to legally download music.  For years we have heard about the war that goes on between musicians and fans that download albums and songs for free from the internet.  While the commotion has seemed to calm down a little bit, many musicians are crying out 4for technology to be stopped.  Right now there are only a few sites that will actually allow you to legally download music from the internet, but how do they employ such technology and rights?

Right now one of the best ways to download music is through the torrent system.  There are many sites and applications that you can use that will support torrents for the use of downloading not only music, but games and even software applications.  One of the leaders in the torrent world is widely known as Pirate Bay.  This has become one of the best places to find the free music that you are looking for.  This is also one of the only sites that allow you to download the music legally free and clear.

Of course one of the biggest downfalls to this technology advancement is the fact that users will need to start paying for the music.  This type of downloading will not always been free and clear in all terms, but it is definitely not worth going to prison over.  The Pirate Bay site will ensure that all songs and downloads are affordable so that users can continue to enjoy the TV shows, songs and movies that they can download and watch right from their own bedroom.

There is some question about how this type of site will stay up and running considering the amount of users they are going to lose.  Most sites do not recover from such as loss; just take a look at Napster.  They had some of the best downloading technology that we had ever seen and as soon as the site went legal, it turned into an online ghost town.  Of course that was years ago and the technology that Pirate Bay uses is way more advanced.  Most users registered do enjoy the fast downloading times so they do not have to sit around and wait for hours for a song or game to download.

The launch of the legal Pirate Bay will occur within a few short months.  Once this change happens you will need to have a valid account in order to search or browse through new music.  While many will continue to illegally download music, there are still the select few that will eventually get caught.  Keep in mind that the authorities have the technology to track down who is downloading these songs and you could face severe consequences.  This is one of the reasons why you might want to reconsider and use Pirate Bay as a legally allowed user.  You may only have to pay a small fee and prices of this technology are expected to go down within the next couple of years.
