Large Hadron Collider will destroy the earth?

Posted on September 8, 2008 by Under Science · 3 Comments

The CERN Association members , gonna start the Large Hadron Collider experiment in 24 hours. The construction of Large Hadron Collider has a length of 29 kilometres. The construction began in 1994 near Geneva, the cost of this construction is 4 billion guineas . The meaning of Large Hadron Collider is to discover the components of the Universe. If the project will be a succes , the evolution of science will be amazing . A lot of scientists believe that this experiment will be very catastrophic. They think that the fail of this experiment can create black holes in atmosphere and can sink the Earth. WE HOPE THAT THIS EXPERIMENT GONNA BE A SUCCES.

It’s certainly not true that “a lot” of scientists think this experiment will be catastrophic. I’m sure a lot of quacks, and uneducated spoon fed media junkies think that.

  2. Dustin says:

it’s physically impossible for the hadron collider to create a black hole large enough to threaten earth. no worries. this is a HUGE scientific breakthru.
