Google Suggests The Funniest Things

Posted on April 7, 2009 by Under Others · 4 Comments

google_suggestGoogle Suggest is a Google Search feature that automatically suggests phrases for you as you type it in the Google search text field. Suggestions are usually intended to be helpful in your search but can sometimes be weird, creepy, or downright hilarious.

Google said that the software gives suggestions based on complex popularity algorithms that are made to predict the queries you are most likely going to submit. Suggestions show up in a drop-down menu. To the right of the suggested search phrases are numbers in green that state approximately how many search results each query would return.

Google Suggest currently works with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Chrome Web browsers. If the service annoys or distracts you in any way, you can turn it off by visiting your Google Preferences page.

Here are some funny answers to some random questions.
