Flash news in the computer area as Microsoft has released on the market a pre-beta version of Windows 7 in Los Angeles, during the Professional Developers Conference. It is said that the pack benefits of a lot of changes and improvements and it is most probable that these extra options will keep all fans busy until the actual beta will be available, sometime this December. Below, you can find a few of the goodies we’ll be able to enjoy with the new Windows 7.
• Device Stage: this option is similar to the control panel and it helps keep track of all the connected devices, such as cell phones, printers, any media players, and video and photo cameras. Once you have enabled the Device Stage Option you will be allowed to “manage, explore, sync, print to, or do other common device-related tasks” as they said.
• StreamOn: this is just another method of controlling all the multimedia files on your PC and all related devices
• It comes with new shell integration and task bar.
• This release also offers a response to the Core Animation that Apple has come up with in the form of a better animation framework.
• Action Center: an improved troubleshooting center.
• It offers better support for Bluetooth devices.
• It offers users support in the multi-touch area.
• Also the release will be equipped with the ribbon user interface element that can be found in the latest Office version.
These are just a few of the options that will be presented during this Conference. However, even though Microsoft intends to present even more improvements, not all of them will be implemented to the beta version of Windows 7. More information will be available as the Professional Developers event carries on.
