Rumor has it… Is it a MacBook, is it an iPhone?

Rumor has it that an unidentified Apple product is running loose on the internet. Its presence has been spotted on several traffic logs on monitored web sites. John Markoff, the first to write an article about the possibility of Apple releasing a notebook on the market has noticed this MacBook nano/MacBook touch/iPhone, and he still has no clue weather it is the latest iPhone or the first MacBook nano.
It would be no surprise if the rumor was true and this would really be the latest version of the Apple iPod, as its predecessors were also spotted on traffic logs. Another reason to support this idea would be that I’m sure that Apple could release a MacBook nano netbook under the price of $500. An iPhone with a larger display of 800 x 480 pixels would meet the needs of the market and it would be a safe choice for apple. With the success of the first two iPhones it would not be that risky and expensive for Apple to go in this direction and release an all new, larger display model of the original iPhone.
Yet another rumor has it that this could be a hackintoshed netbook running on a new MAC OS X version, but I don’t think this is the case because the product would otherwise be tagged Mac Pro. All in all I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
