HP has launched a new smartbook, the HP AirLife 100, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Google Andoid.

The HP AirLife 100 features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, a 16GB solid state drive (SSD), 512MB of RAM and 512MB of flash memory, plus a full sized keyboard.

Other specifications include built in WiFi, HSPA connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a range of dedicated Android keys on the keyboard.

The HP AirLife 100 Google Android Smartbook also features an instant on function, that lets you use the smartbook straight away without having to wait for it to boot up.

There are no details on pricing or availability although that the HP AirLife should be available sometime in the spring of 2010.
