Cadillac Converj: Two or Four Doors?
With the Cadillac Converj still in process it can be hard determining whether a two door or a four door will be the perfect match for its sleek design. It seems that over the years two door models seem to have a bit of a struggle getting out of the show room and this is because they aren’t as much of a family vehicle compared to a four door model.
Many people consider buying them the first year that they are on the market, but the years after it seems to winder down and the sales are quite minimal if not any. When a vehicle can’t sell throughout it’s entire lifecycle for sales it makes it not worth while to develop too many of them and this is why the Cadillac Converj is going through much debate on whether they should stick with their fashionable two door model or upgrade into a four door model.
With the demand for four door vehicles GM management has decided to consider developing a four door model of the Cadillac Converj. You won’t see this vehicle till at least 2013 and this is because the development process will take time to perfect things.
The design will most likely be similar to other major designs like the Mercedes Benz CLS Class with the handles on the rear doors being hidden and the roofline still intact. It would take on a four door coupe design and still keep its luxurious feel like before when it was a two door model.
The decision may take some time on GM’s part as they will be doing several clinics to decide on the best design first. They want to know what would appeal better to the market, two doors or four doors Cadillac Converj.
